The "trending blog" Tumblr has only launched in July this year. You are within the iOS and Android app under the tab "Explore." According Tumblr companies can recoup their sponsored blogs at country level here in the future. This allows the targeting of all German users, but not the user of a particular state. Lee Brown, chief Tumblrs for brand partnerships, explains the "Trending blogs" were "a great opportunity for brands to expand the base of their followers".

As part of a beta phase Tumblr plans to offer the "Sponsored Trendings blog" in December for an undisclosed total price. Subsequently, the billing is to follow on the basis of "engagement". Participating in the beta-phase companies include Delta Airlines, Twentieth Century Fox and Calvin Klein.
