Gigabyte U21MD: 3-in-1 device usable as a tablet, notebook and desktop PC

From the house of gigabytes we can imagine another new product, in the form of the new Gigabyte U21MD All-in-One system that you can use in three different ways, for example as a portable tablet PC as a notebook or a desktop PC , provided one uses the additional docking station.

The Gigabyte U21MD has already been presented in a similar model variant as U21M last year and new with this is the D21 docking station, the 3.0 provides, among other ports for Ethernet LAN, HDMI, audio, 2x USB 2.0, 3x USB. The connection takes place here through the docking connector.

The technical equipment of the notebook with Tablet PC features the 11.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixel belongs to the resolution and processor buyers have a choice between an Intel Core i5-4200U and 3558U Pentium. In addition there are up to 256GB of internal SSD memory or an HDD hard drive with up to 1TB of storage capacity.

The keyboard used is provided with a backlight on the device and there are more connection options for 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, HDMI, Ethernet LAN, microphone, headphones and an SD card reader is available. The notebook keyboard can be folded to put the device into the tablet PC mode. When will the new model in Germany will go to the start and at what price is not fixed yet.
