Around the Nokia Normandy , there have been new rumors and information from time to time in recent weeks, especially insider @ evleaks has been waiting over Twitter with details. Now, Nokia has even kicked off the speculation, because the Finnish company has sent an invitation that refers to an event in Barcelona, on 25 February 2014 to take place - accordingly should the event coincide with the Mobile World Congress 2014.
Nokia X: Google Android at a small price
In the course of the event various Nokia devices will be presented, including the Nokia Lumia 1520 Mini and the Nokia X - according to @ evleaks is the Nokia X to any other device than the Nokia Normandy. As Nokia X the Finnish company therefore intends to bring its first smartphone with Google's Android OS on the market, although there is still no known exact details to launch or price.
However, it can be assumed based on previous information from @ evleaks that it is a low-budget smartphone the Nokia X and Nokia Normandy. So far, Nokia is completely focused on Windows Phone and Asha OS, the Nokia X would be the first Android device of the manufacturer.
Microsoft not a stumbling block?
Since Nokia is to be adopted shortly by Microsoft, it was actually that Microsoft could prevent the release of Android smartphones from Nokia. This will not happen but apparently.
