OCZ Vertex 460 SSD hard drives with new Barefoot controller 3 M10 and brisk speeds

From the house of OCZ we can now imagine another batch of SSD hard drives, which is the vertex is 460 SSDs to the new series that are equipped with the new Barefoot controller 3 M10.

The new OCZ Vertex 460 SSD drives are in addition to make use of MLC NAND flash chips in only 19 nm design. The maximum read speed is specified with 545MB per second and the maximum write speed should be up to 525MB per second (sequential).

The SSDs are also given as 95,000 IOPS in the 4K range and the write performance (4K) will be up to 90,000 IOPS. The new controller also supports AES 256-bit decryption for data security. To purchase the new SSDs will also give added yet different tools for the maintenance and the new models will be available in capacities of 120GB, 240GB and 480GB.

The 2.5-inch casing will be very slim with a depth of only 7 millimeters. Accurate information on the date of publication and the individual prices, we have not yet available. The guarantee is given as three years, for a writing volume of 20GB per day.The package is still a 3.5-inch adapter and the included Acronis True Image software.
