iPhone 5C offers the most internal memory, Samsung Galaxy S4 far behind

The IT Blog Which? has performed and shown which smartphone operating system the 16 GB class at least and which the most memory occupies a smartphone analysis - without the user. The result: The list is led by Apple's iPhone 5C and completed by Samsung's Galaxy S4.

The leader offers 16 gigabytes of total memory 12.60 GB of free space that is exactly 78.75 percent, the users for their own purposes still remain. Apple's second iPhone, 5S, second with 12.2 gigabytes in third place, after the Google Nexus 5 with 12.28 GB and followed by Sony's Xperia Z1 with 11.43 GB.

Now, one could argue: Even those 78.75 percent of iPhone 5C are not very much, but the device is offered as a 16-GB model. A naive user would wonder why he does not get the promised 16 GB. In other words, the capacity specified in the offer to sell could be interpreted as a deliberate deception.

Rival Samsung, which completes the comparison with absolutely below average result, solves the problem in an almost intelligent way. From the promised 16 GB of Samsung Galaxy S4, the user receives while only slightly more than half (53.5 percent) for free.

In addition to the operating system, the available memory is filled by a variety of more or less useless programs - sometimes also called Samsung "powerful features". That you can equip an Android also space-saving, however, shows the Google Nexus, which is inferior to the iPhone's as good as nothing. ( via )
