Every month again, Google presents the figures for the current distribution of Android on their devices. It is always the last two weeks of each month and will be analyzed on the side of the Google Developers published. Also last month, was a clear trend emerging since 4.x Android Jelly Bean is on the upswing.

Jelly Bean could in versions 4.1 and 4.2 in the previous month but still show a value of 13.6%, this Androird iteration was in February 2013 already represented in 16.5% of all devices. A downward trend is also evident in Gingerbread so you had a loss of 2.4% to be accepted. Nevertheless, Android 2.3 - 2.3.7 is still the most powerful force on the systems.

As part of the steadily improving update policies of manufacturers and the fact that releast are virtually no new devices with Gingerbread, the share of this iteration drop dramatically in the next few months.

Android Ice Cream Sandwich will remain unchanged and also Honeycomb seems only marginally to move down.
