iFixit repairability: Dell XPS 10 and Kindle Fire can best be repaired

Which tech geek tinkering not big holes in his tablet? Often features are easily expanded or upgraded only defective components. But what tablets can be really simple and easy to repair, and which devices difficulties are encountered? The guys at iFixit have once caught the 18 most common / popular tablets and a repair capability test.

The results were in my eyes, not even particularly surprising. As expected, Apple is one of the candidates who do not like "rumpfuschen" leave in their own hardware, which is why the iPad tablet to land on the last places. But the surface of the RT and successor, the Surface Pro and the Google Nexus Tablets are not easy to repair.

No. 1 on the best repair capability, the XPS 10 is made by Dell. So if you are looking for a tablet to tinker and screw, which might be well advised with the 10-incher. Only the LCD is fused into glass, which you could make some work. 2nd place is the Amazon Kindle Fire, which can also split open and relatively easy. But here again we have the display problem, just as it did on the Dell XPS 10th
