As part of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona , the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 unveiled and presented a compact Android tablet. The unit can boast in comparison to the competition with a phone function, and a pressure-sensitive stylus and is the beginning of the second quarter on the market. Now, the first online retailers have the 8.0 grade introduced into the range and revealed a first prize.

Samsung has so far still been no exact date is known, however, the popular online stores already listed the tablet and enable the reservation. The WiFi version with 16 gigabytes will cost Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 at Cyberport, and co-buyer proud 499 euros. The model with 3G functionality and the 32-gigabyte version costs 100 euros each once more. The combination of the two, ie the model with 32GB and 3G even costs 699 euros. Amazon, the price for both the 3G variant as well as for the 16 gigabyte WiFi version at 549 euros, here it is, however, possibly due to an internal error in the system. In any case, one can assume that the price in the coming weeks will drop slightly and stabilize at well below 500 euro.

With respect to the prices of the competition you have to say that the Samsung Galaxy note is 8.0 located in the upscale segment and both significantly more expensive than the iPad mini and the Nexus 7 fails. The phone function, and the S-Pen, however, represent functions which possess the other tablets, and one could not justify the slightly higher price.
