Xi3 Piston Steam Box: first Steam game system with 3.2GHz processor brings in dollars for 900 U.S.

The company Xi3 enters the newly established market of Steam games consoles and now the new Xi3 Piston Steam Box has introduced that will come as a game console for the Games of the Steam platform used.

With the new Xi3 Piston Steam Box you can access inter alia to the games and download platform Steam back where they buy and play games on the console. The console has a cost point of U.S. $ 900 (around € 690) with it and you get to the coal a mini PC with AMD A10 quad-core processor at 3.2GHz clock speed and 4x. Furthermore, the steam box is equipped with 8GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD hard drive, and there are interfaces for 4x USB 2.0/3.0, 2x Mini-DisplayPort and 1x HDMI available.

For the graphical power comes a graphics chipset from ATI Radeon series HD7000er used. The power consumption of the mini PC is reported to be about 40 watts. The price is according to the 17th March, however, to just under U.S. $ 1,000 (approx. € 770) will be increased. Optionally, you also does a SSD hard drive with 256GB storage space, however, has an additional cost of about 220 €.
