HTC One vs Samsung Galaxy S3 Comparison: Differences and similarities of the two smartphones

clip_image001 This Sunday we have again made an actual comparison of two smartphones together, moving in the same price range, namely the high-end range.

Our next comparison comprises the last year released Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone and the new HTC One smartphone, which in March 2013 at a price of 679 € (RRP) to be launched.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone is equipped with the well-known 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen display that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with a pixel density of 306ppi. One can model the HTC as the next generation already shine with a 4.7-inch full HD touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 469ppi, which is similar to the Galaxy S 4 smartphone to be the case.

In the area of ​​the processor while S3 is a Samsung Exynos 4412 processor with 1.4GHz clock speed and 4x the MP400 Mali GPU into play. With HTC you have a Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor built by Qualcomm, which also has four cores but can boast higher clock speeds of 1.7GHz. In addition, the RAM has been doubled to 2GB.

The internal memory of the two smartphones is 32GB and 64GB, depending on the model. The Galaxy S3 is also a 16GB version available and the space can be increased by up to 64GB via the microSD card slot on. When HTC One smartphone no card slot is available, the subsequent memory expansion falls flat.

Both smartphones have to offer also a similarly strong battery with 2100mAh lithium-ion technology, the Galaxy S3 and with 2300mAh lithium polymer technology on the HTC one. Moreover, both smartphones to access the 4G networks via LTE / HSPA + on it and offer more options such as Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and MHL. The operating system is the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android Smartphone 4.1.2 "Jelly Bean" for the course, while the HTC One with 4.2 "Jelly Bean" will be delivered.
