At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona which ended today, was also present LG with its stand with many devices on display, but the ones that struck us were the Optimus Pro G and G. We got to touch them with your hand and make us a ' idea of their potential.
Let's start from 'LG Optimus Pro G, being the last terminal presented. It is called a phablet, which is a mix between a phone and tablet, both due to its high performance and its size is not just indifferent. The 'LG Optimus Pro G has also a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and IPS technology.
The battery is very large: 3140mAh, which will allow us to get through the evening without special precautions. The OS is obviously Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with a graphical ad-hoc: Optimus 3.0.
With regard to the power of this terminal, the processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad core processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device has an internal memory of 32GB, but is expandable up to twice thanks to support for Micro SD cards.
In addition to power, the device has another strong point, or the camera: well 13Mpx will allow us to take pictures at 4320 x 3240 resolution and 1080p HD video at 30fps. The front camera is instead a mere 2.1 Mpx. Finally, the 'G Optimus Pro supports connections LTE and has integrated NFC chip.
The device has very satisfied, although without having been able to exploit to the maximum for obvious reasons. Aesthetically it is well built, thin enough and despite the size of the display there is hardly seemed heavy. On the front side there are the usual 3 keys present on all terminals Android, but the central one once turned off the display is transformed into a real status bar light, which will change color according to the percentage of charge.
The second device that we got to try was the 'LG Optimus G, which we can consider it a valid terminal despite having already surpassed the G Pro.
The device is equipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has a 4-inch display with 1280 x 768 resolution and IPS technology. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 instead.
Even in this terminal is 13Mpx the camera with a resolution of 4128 x 3096 and HD video at 1080p and 30fps, while the front is 1.3 megapixel.
The battery is quite powerful 2100mAh, even if we consider that the size of the display are higher than other terminals. The NFC chip and 32GB of internal memory are also available.
In our hands we felt it was a good end, but we leave you the final considerations.
