XBMC, the best multimedia player on jailbroken iOS devices, updates introducing support for iPhone 5

XBMC is a powerful multimedia player that allows you to watch videos or listen to music and that eliminates any limit within the iOS platforms. Already famous for its desktop versions, has landed on iOS for some time and in recent hours has been updated.

People with minimal passion for film and devices Cupertino, you certainly know XBMC, an obligatory stop on any self-respecting jailbroken AppleTV. List the features of this software would be impossible in the course of a review, just think that is not designed to land on the App Store that contains an endless series of feature borrowed directly from the desktop versions.

For example, I like to use it seeing movies via USB without having to enter them each time on the limited space of my iPad (I do not really like to watch movies on a smartphone). But the features of XBMC is not limited to only view and play media files, as through a series of applications can play one of the most diverse tasks: we can look at how they proceed on our download Torrents on your home PC, or view the contents of video portals like YouTube, Vimeo, TwitchTV and others.

XBMC has been updated in the last few hours to version 12.1, bringing many new features of iOS. First of all the support the full resolution of the iPhone 5, as well as support for iOS 6 of the second-generation Apple TV. Were also fixed several bugs that led to crash and has been enhanced through the recognition AirPlay.

XBMC is available in Cydia repository "http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/ios/" absolutely free of charge. If you do not know, I recommend giving it a try.
